My Gotel User Guide

Be sure to get your Host’s / Guest’s information for security / emergency purposes (Name / Address / License Plate / Phone Number / Email / Plans and Destinations)

Interview or ask your Host / Guest questions before you agree on a visit. Make sure your needs and concerns are answered to prevent scams or bad experiences. Tell them what your plans are during your visit. Let them know how long you want to stay, and if you plan on going out to explore the area. Make sure you have their contact information for emergencies. Do not take advantage or assume anything without a verbal agreement.

Be sure to clarify your restrictions and conditions. The last thing you want is a bad experience, do what you are comfortable with and be firm.

Do not give or accept any money, sex, drugs or anything illegal! You are providing an authentic social experience, money, sex, drugs and illegal activity will only create problems, ruin the experience and defeat the purpose!

Lock rooms and hide valuables! Be sure to watch your belongings to prevent stealing. Lock rooms where you do not want guests staying and put your valuables in the locked room.

Be sanitary! Do laundry and clean the room / bathroom where your Guest will be staying. It is also important to have good hygiene to not spread disease or any sickness!

Provide hospitality and have courtesy! Respect goes along way and is the most valuable thing we can provide for one another. Do not force your Host or Guest to do something they are not willing to do or are uncomfortable with!

Have fun and get to know each other! Gotels are all about the adventure and meeting different people. Share your history and stories, show them around your area! Take some photos to share in the Gallery!

Be sure to get permission from your landlord if you rent your apartment or house!
