Let’s Date User Guide
Interview and ask your Date questions to get to know them before agreeing on going on a Date. Make sure your interests and concerns are answered, do not do something you are uncomfortable with or unwilling to do.
Always tell someone you know personally that you are going on a Date and what the plan is. Have them be available to answer texts or calls in case of an emergency!
Do not get in a car with someone you do not know! To be on the safe side, take an Uber / Lyft or Taxi. Agree to meet somewhere and to stay there until the Date is over. If you decide to go somewhere else, drive your own car and let someone you know personally where you are going and why.
Be respectful and polite. Do not violate people’s personal space or decisions.
Stick with the plan, if you want to change plans then make sure you both verbally agree.
Do not drive under the influence! Hire an Uber / Lyft / Taxi or have a Sober Designated Driver. Do not force someone to use drugs or drink alcohol!
Stay in public places. Avoid going to private areas. Get to know someone before you go to their house or a private area.
Pay for yourself! Do not expect or force someone to pay for you unless they tell you they want to. All transactions should be independent. Do not go on a Date just for a free Dinner or Movie, you need to contribute!
Be responsible and safe! Use good judgement, never assume you know something about someone without clarifying it with them. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, say no or leave if you do not like the Date.
Have fun! Let’s Date is about going out and having a good time! Relationships are special, but they take time to form. Don’t expect too much from someone, get to know them first and see where it goes!
